Incorporating with equilibrium and compatibility condition, the constitutive law of concrete proposed by Kawashima et. al. as well as the elastoplastic model of reinforcement was taken into account mechanically. By necessary comparisons, a good consistency can be found between the analysis results and the results obtained by conventional load contour method. To testify the accuracy and validity of the proposed approach, twenty-six reported results of bidirection-eccentry tests of RC columns were adopted for necessary investigation.
