Load cell and LVDT are used to measure friction force and position of brake cylinder, and compare the difference of friction properties under various nano particles oil. Results show the DOT-3 brake oil that adds nano particles decreasing the friction force. For a long stagnation time, the brake oil adds nano particles either decreasing friction forces or increasing the oscillations. The sizes and types of nano particles had a great effect on the friction forces of brake nano oil.
