The first printed antenna differs from the conventionally printed Inverted-F antenna in that it is constructed with coupling with a rectangular ground plane. The modification results in a dual wide impedance bandwidth and is shown to be adequate for Wireless LAN system application. The second printed antenna by adjusting the parameters of the rectangular ground plane has been shown to contain multi-band character.
