Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 電機工程系所 === 95 === In order to reduce the complexity of Power Line Communication (PLC) transceiver while improving data throughput, this research proposes an adaptive packet switching scheme based on the ACK/NACK statistics of SAW ARQ used in HomePlug1.0 standard. This scheme can switch transmit packets of different lengths by means of its capability for channel estimation; longer packets will be employed in better channel condition. Experimental results obtained from 3 typical PLC channel models (CM2, CM3, CM4) indicate that the proposed adaptive packet switching scheme achieves varying degrees of improvements for transmission performances and the result of channel model 3 is among the best.
