Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 化學工程研究所 === 95 === In this study, organically modified silicate hybrid materials incorporating poly(dimethylsiloxane) (PDMS) into tetraethylorthosilicate (TEOS) were prepared by a sol-gel process. The mechanical and thermal properties, morphology, and anti-ablation of the hybrid materials were investigated. Room temperature vulcanized silicone rubber with the PDMS/TEOS hybrid, of which 2 wt% of TEOS, has higher tensile strength, increased with 15 %, and Young’s modulus, improved in 54% than the pure silicon rubber., high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber with the PDMS/TEOS hybrid, of which 3 wt% of TEOS, has more time to be ablated by flame. The heat release rate and external coefficient decay. Furthermore, the high temperature vulcanized silicone rubber with the carbon fiber, shows better mechanical properties than original one.
