When the channel members have the relationship of mutual interdependence and high trust, the performance will improve. However, the asymmetry of interdependence could cause channel members to be untrustful and opportunistic. Besides, channel structure will also affect the channel relationship. If there are written rules of the norms and transaction procedures, it makes them more easily to follow these rules. So, the study probes into how the bureaucratization and interdependence affect channel relational behavior and how the relational behavior affects channel performance.
