Description
Summary:碩士 === 亞洲大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 95 === In the past, all the functional blocks have been built directly on the main circuit board on traditional CATV amplifier. This fixed configuration causes some problems such as: not flexible for different band split country, not flexible for different band- width country, not flexible for signals adjustments!! The fixed configuration amp leads the headache to manufacturer and sales agent and so is the user!! For manufacturer, the fixed configuration amplifiers are made for certain customers requested the similar specs. The market size is limited! To meet It is very severe to both R&D load and logistics load, such as inventory management, materials preparation, lead time. At last the manufacturing cost and overhead can’t be effectively reduced!! For CATV system operator, the fixed configuration amplifier is difficult to use, high inventory cost, difficult to upgrade and lack the feature of future proof!! In order to improve the transmission distance of signals, to reduce operator’s cost, ahigh gain and high-quality products is the trend of market now . Not limited to traditional TV program broadcasting, operators are doing the multiple value added service, such as internet service, multimedia, interactive TV, VOD and telephony. These services lead to data traffic congestion, then the strong need of wider bandwidth!! So, a high gain, ripple minimum, low VSWR, modularized CATV trunk amplifier has been my study target!!
