| Summary: | 碩士 === 世新大學 === 資訊傳播學研究所(含碩專班) === 95 === The background of the Film Critics in Taiwan is diverse because there is no professional education system about the field in Taiwan.
There are basic knowledge and skill in every field, and the capital knowledge of Film Critics is at least about movie history, film technique, the style of the film directors and team, aesthetics film etc.. But the view and point is different of every Film Critics, except the basic technique, there should be something behind.
Polanyi: ”We know more than we can tell.” In other words, tacit knowledge is the most important knowledge but hard to tell. This study aims to understand what the tacit knowledge is shown in the articles written from Film Critics.
This study use text analysis and interview for approach, and the results are summarized below:
1. There are some characteristics on the process of writing: “ Be concentrative”, “ Don’t take to much bias or expectations of the movie”, “ The content is changeable as the attribute of the media and the crowd.”, and “Non-linear process”.
2. The information needed in the writing process are: “ The information about the cineaste”, “The story and episode about the movie”, “The information about the movie, history and society of any country.”, “The stills and photos”, and “Implicit knowledge”
3. The tacit knowledge shown in the articles are: “ The conversance”, “Movie eye”, “Exquisite observation”, “Excellent discourse with sense and rational”, “The great controlling and expression with words” and “The comparison and associability immediately”.
The training to get the tacit knowledge are: “Watching movies largely and lasting”, “Reading largely and constant” and “Writing ongoing”.
