In Challenge 2008—National Development Plan, the computer animation is regarded as the most potential and development industry in the eight major digital industries. The emergence of 3D computer animation industry also elevates animation industry to another level. It has the brand new visual effect and the rich scene view. Based on the knowledge-economy properties, the critical factors are the animation professionals join the animation industry. The thesis focus on exploring the mental models of animation professionals. To gain better insight concerning their accumulation model of professional knowledge and skills by interviews with professionals. Via the qualitative research methodology, the thesis attempts to acquire important concepts to construct professionals’inner knowledge model and to portray common learning intellectual map of animation professionals. Consequently, the results could lead how animation professional courses are designed, instruct potential animation industry workers and provides the authorities information about training computer animation professionals.
