financial industry. Many security technology and theories like Business Continue Plan,
Risk Management, Information Security, BS7799, and ISO 27001 was proposed to
achieve the security point. To keep financial stable, “Taiwan Financial Supervisory
commission, executive yuan (FSCEY)” request financial industry in Taiwan need to
have solutions for disaster recovery to keep business running to make sure financial
market keep stable and smoothly.
Data of this study was derived from the outcome of questionnairies from IT
managers and staffs who take charge of disaster recovery tasks in Taiwan banks. The
study discovered current status of Taiwan banking information center for disaster
recovery, besides, sum up 14 critical success factors on disaster recovery for
information center in bank, and provide suggestions for other industries which want to
build up disaster recovery systems to keep business’s continuity.
