Owing to the development in democracy and complement of legal system, however, the pressure of adjusting or abolishing military training programs in high schools become an urgent issue. In response of reforming of general education in national defense, Ministry of Education launched “Military Training Improving Programs” in 2004. In addition, the approval of “Rule of Education in National Defense” by Legislative Yuan in 2005 also caused some impacts on this issue. Military officers in high schools are the research targets in this article. By investigating the results of questionnaire, we study the degree of cognition and attitude of them to the extant system and the correlations between them. We have the following consequences: 1.The relation between the degree of cognition and attitude toward in adjustment the extant system is significant. The results accept the Hypotheses 1, 3 and 5. 2.In the relation between the degree of cognition and working attitude, although the results accept Hypotheses 5, we also acquire that the degree of cognition in personal future planning can be used as a tool in predicting working attitude. 3.By applying one-way ANOVA and Scheffe’s method, we found that there exists different degree of cognition in working guarantee in different age, rank and years in past service.
