碩士 === 東吳大學 === 經濟學系 === 95 === The study objects of this article are 20 main cities in mainland China coast. The research period is from 2003 to 2005, using the DEA-Solver-PRO software to estimate the super efficiency index of 20 cities under the SuperSBM-V model. It also carries on the place, simultaneously examines input factors that influences efficiency value. Next, it utilizes the Malmquist index to understand developing trends of various cities productivity in recent years. Finally, it utilizes the super efficiency index and the Malmquist index overlapping analysis to extract fit and unfit quality of the various cities synthesis performance specifically. The research demonstrates：(1)The amount of foreign capital investment is being highly connected with the size of the city production efficiency. Therefore, the cities which foreign capital inputs more investment, are relative effective on the production behavior. (2) In research period, the cities which present tendency of the continually growth on productivity year by year, are Shenzhen, Shanghai, Dongguang, Soochow and Nantong respectively. Otherwise, Malmquist index of Dalian, Amoy, Haikou and Wenzhou is smaller than 1, namely the productivity present tendency of constant decline.(3) The productivity and the super efficiency index of Hangzhow, Gingdao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shenzhen, Dongguang, Soochow, Nantong, Weihai, and so on, are bigger than or equal to 1, namely the whole production is relative efficiently and also has potential to get ahead.
