Summary:碩士 === 靜宜大學 === 青少年兒童福利研究所 === 95 === This research is basis on investigator’s working experience, using institutional ethnography method to examine, under National Health Insurance and hospital organization, the thinking of psychiatric social workers when doing patients’ assessment during admission and how they were influenced by their organization. From the experience of personal and other workers inform, we can find the relation between needs of clients, institution and worker themselves. Then we can further connect to the relationship between others and the society. The result of research finds that there were diverse conditions while psychiatric patient acute admission. When patient being admitted, besides the chaos of psychiatric symptoms, their emotions were multiplicity between patients. Instead of following the standard organization procedures and requirements, social worker also needs to observe clients’ situations and needs. Then social worker should provide appropriate services and interventions to them immediately. Under this thinking process, researcher recognized which service that social worker can provide to their clients. From this process, investigator also gains more understanding of the role and strength in the organization and this should not be neglected in our practice.
