Description
Summary:碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 資訊管理研究所碩士在職專班 === 95 === Due to the transformation of social formations and the advancement of medical technologies in recent years, the life expectancy of domestic people is much longer, but several diseases of civilization have also been derived. The authority concerned has noticed this development but attempted to promote medical and pharmaceutical management via polices and regulations to benefit the well-being of the general public. Drug stores have been prevalent in Taiwan since long ago. In the past, they only sold drugs and provided no further information to drug buyers. But under the demand of the connection with medical institutes and the environment, advanced customer service systems were invented. However, these systems were subject to the cooperation with medical institutes and the application of government’s public information. In this study, a drug interaction decision support system was proposed to enhance drug stores service quality. This study was composed of 4 parts. The first part described the drug interaction system. The second focused on the design and operation of the drug interaction decision support system. The third provided empirical results, while the fourth proposed conclusions and directions for future studies. The proposed drug decision support system encompassed the constructs of prescribed medicine, OTC (over-the-counter) medicine, and diet to establish a drug interaction database for references. The response system at regional drug stores could provide citizens with more information about drug interactions, and the automatic response system would retrieve data and further update the database. In order to verify the practicality of this system, this study used the connection of a drug store and dental clinics in central Taiwan for verification and explanation.
