I try to find out drawing manifestation and technique. After entering Graduate School of Art, Chinese Culture University, I contact the Post-Cubism, and comprehend that it contains the infinite illusion space in the nature. My mind is palpitated profoundly. I often follow my husband who especially cherishes the sea to visit the fishing port at the seashore and track down the recollection of his childhood together with him. There are sailing ship shadow, mast, boat side, anchor sound…at the ports. All of the images of the boats ripple constantly in my mind, and they inspire me with the creative theme by the union of style of the Post-Cubism and natural scenery of the fishing port ships and so on. At the same time, to assist the creation, I also borrow many famous paintings of ships, which also becomes one of the important origins of inspiration. This research paper has six chapters as following: Chapter 1 Introduction:The purposes, motives, approaches, scope and limit of the creation Chapter 2 The influence the modern Western world arts brings to the Post-Cubism on the performance form: (1) Cubism (2) Futurism (3) The connection of Post-Cubism with Cubism and Futurism Chapter 3 The ideas of self-creation: (1) Fourth dimension - beauty is the worldwide recognition (2) Response to the nature (3) Application of perspective principle (4) To practice and experience self-creation Chapter 4 The form and content of creation Chapter 5 Analysis of the paintings of Ai Chu Kao. Chapter 6 Self-examination and prospects of creation From drawing, I realized the truth of maintaining good health and surmounted the boundary of the technique. Drawing is not only about functional consciousness but also spiritual satisfaction. In other words, we do not just “look at” those paintings but understand and appreciate them by our minds and souls.
