There were 15 health male and female students of Chinese Culture University as subjects. The pre-test and post-test design was applied to measure subjects’ health-related physical fitness and autonomic nervous activity. Heart Rate Variety Monitor of WEGENE Technologies INC. was used to interpret the autonomic nervous activity. LF﹪represented sympathetic activity and the high frequency HF represented the parasympathetic activity. The results showed that after eight weeks of swimming exercise training, muscle strength and endurance, flexibility, aerobic endurance were significantly improved (t=9.79, p≦.05; t=5.43, p≦.05; t=3.03, p≦.05), but the sympathetic activity LF%(47.70±18.12 vs 57.04±16.34﹔t=.134,p>.05) and the parasympathetic activity HF(5.96±0.87 ms2 vs5.71±1.13 ms2﹔t=.283,p>.05) were not significantly different. According to the results, eight weeks of swimming training had positive effects to college students in health-related physical fitness and the autonomic nervous activity. 蘇俊賢 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
