A two-stage method is used for finding the composite designs. First we choose a proper first-order design with small supports, and then the remaining supports are selected according to an pre-specified criterion. A modified simulated annealing algorithm is applied here for numerically finding these added supports according to the different criteria. Besides A-optimal criterion, As-optimal and slope-rotatable criteria are also used here. Based on the three different types of first-order designs, the corresponding minimal-point designs are found. Finally these designs are compared with central composite designs, other small composite designs and minimal-point designs by relative efficiencies. It is shown that the proposed composite designs perform well in general. Ray-Bing Chen 陳瑞彬 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 47 en_US |
