However, not all of the environment educational facilities in school can satisfy the demands of teachers and students. In contrast to universities, they keep working on beautifying their campus. What is their purpose? If the environment planning in universities can link up with the courses in elementary, students would learn other materials which they lack of from schools. It will become more valuable and meaningful about campus planning. This research is aimed at class teachers and the science and technology learning areas’ teachers in eleven elementary schools around Kaohsiung University and to realized the demand of outdoor education. Moreover, the campus planning of university, according to the outdoor education needs from the teachers and schools, carried out the outdoor environmental facilities planning and construction. At last, this research also understands the causes which influence the teacher’s willing of outdoor education. From the results of the research, teachers agree that carry out outdoor activities can promote and achieve the goal of 1-9 Integrated Curriculum .There are three topics which can use environmental education facilities which included “Animal and Plant” 、“Environment” and “Energy”. Except for one unit of “Servation of Animal's Behavior” for higher classes, others are all qualified for the courses. Furthermore, teacher wish to have other facilities such as “Soil-Water-Conservation”、“Agriculture”、“Composts”、“Animals”、“Wind Resources Reuse” and “Weather Observation” no matter in NUK or outside the school. After discussing with many departments in the university, this research reports some practical plans. Moreover, there are many reasons such as safety, money, and traffic will block elementary to have outdoor education in NUK. Other reasons for example, students do not have plenty of time; teachers lack of knowledge of outdoor activities; schools do not have relative materials, and it is not easy to contact sites will also affect their willing to go into NUK.
