The system is composed of a laser measurement system, a motion control module, a mechanical module and a program module. Laser micro gauge and laser confocal displacement meter are used to measure the micro drill’s out-diameter and the distance from the cutting edge to the web. Then the web thickness of the micro-drill can be analyzed by laser measurement system.
