Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 管理研究所 === 95 === With the rapid development of new computer technology and diverse multimedia teaching materials, hard copy textbooks are still the main learning objects in most schools in Taiwan, including elementary schools, junior high schools, kindergartens and child-care after schools. In order to facilitate the teaching process and to promote students’ learning efficiency, this thesis has performed a large-scale survey of the teachers in the above-mentioned education institutes. The purposes of our research are three fold: 1.To test whether the development of multimedia teaching materials which are bounded closely with the hard-copy textbooks will enhance teachers’ interests in the textbooks, through the use of Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). 2.To test whether the product-related attributes and the non-product-related attributes of multimedia teaching materials are the key factors affecting teacher’s textbook selecting process. 3.To adjust the development and revisions of the multimedia teaching materials, so as to meet the practical and user-friendly needs in real teaching conditions. The results of our thesis showed that teachers with various ages, living areas, education levels, teaching experience and multimedia teaching experience did have significant difference of multimedia teaching materials, including the product-related attributes and non-product-related attributes. Besides, teachers with various characteristics also have very different attitudes in accepting new technology and in other study aspects. This will influence a lot the textbook publishers’ product design, product planning, technology applications and the effectiveness of theirs services. Finally, the thesis also noticed that multimedia teaching material application experiences have significant influences on textbooks selection model and TAM. While the government is promoting educational reforms and uplifting teaching qualities, it also uplifting teachers’ sense of fulfillment and satisfaction in teaching process if the teachers’ needs and selection behavior in multimedia teaching materials of different areas can be better understood.
