is a basic and essential part for ICT product, that provide the Notebook、 PC、MP3
player and PND(personal navigation device) main power source.
Since 1839, Mr. William Grove had proposed “Fuel cell “ initial model theory,
As a result of materials science prompt advance from decades, that fuel cell’s
developments reach an expected achievement. Fuel cell has highly power transfer
efficiency (70%)、just fueled-and-use to generate electric power、 does not need
extra time to recharge battery. This study is considered all above characters will be
caused serious impact to SPS industry. As micro fuel battery cost and size is
acceptable, it must be replace SPS and lithium-ion battery.
This study is using (a) Porter five-force analysis and (b) SWOT analysis
industries analysis tools, try to identify SPS industry’s core competition. In addition
to we use “SWOT quadrant strategy analysis model” for finding out the SPS
industry feasible strategy. Then extend above feasible strategy into four dimensions;
(1) production (2) price (3) marketing (4) government policy for SPS facing fuel
cell commercialize impacted corresponding strategy.
