The antenna consists of a driven triangular monopole and slot strips. The asymmetric triangular patch is folded to reduce the size of the antenna, and a cut was employed to increase the bandwidth of the lower operating band and to improve impedance matching of upper operating band. The proposed antenna operates effectively in the CDMA (824-894 MHz), GSM (880-960 MHz), DCS (1710-1880 MHz), PCS (1850-1990 MHz) and WCDMA (1920-2170 MHz) within VSWR of 2.5:1. Detail criteria with respect to geometrical parameter variation are given to expedite design process.
