In order to improve this, we analyzed DASs, metadata requirement specifications, and the other documents of the National Digital Archives Program (NDAP). We consulted the functions, interfaces, and operating procedures of tools of NDAP. We develop a generator for DAS. The generator provides a Web interface for users to edit metadata schemas and system settings, which are stored in relational database. Users can use create function of the generator to generate DAS according to the schemas and settings.
