The stable water supply and utilization is very important to support the country which has made great progress. But the topography of Taiwan is steep, so rainwater is difficult to hold back to use. Besides, the area of Taiwan has a higher population density. So, people have not much water. Rainwater is one kind of resource that could be recycled. If people lean on the rooftop of building to gather rainwater, it would be contributive to increase water resource. The objective of research is rainwater utilization system leaned on the raft foundation of existed building to supply rainwater. First, taking Taipei city as example, and making a mode to calculate the capacity of raft foundation. Finally, evaluate the system which integrates with existed building in Taipei city. According to result estimated, the capacity of raft foundation could stockpile rainwater about 9,875,725.27m3 in Taipei city. Average capacity of rainwater, which could be held in the raft foundation of existed building, about 214,961,926.80m3 every years.
