Description
Summary:碩士 === 臺灣大學 === 機械工程學研究所 === 95 === This paper aims to enhance the performance of the diaphragm of earphones by diamond-like carbon (DLC) films. It is desired to change the mode shapes of the diaphragm by the deposition of DLC films and hence improve the response of the earphone. Since the earphone-ear system is too complex for an analytical study, the finite element method is used in turn. A finite element model for the earphone and standard electronic ear is constructed first. Proper examples are used to verify the finite element model. Then the diaphragm is divided into several areas according to the geometric characteristics. The frequency response of the diaphragm is determined when DLC film of proper thickness is deposited on each area. The effects of the deposition position and thickness of the DLC film on the acoustical performance of the diaphragm are investigated in detail. Finally, the response surface method is used to determine the optimal location and film thickness of the DLC film.
