Firstly, a 9-DOF vehicle model is introduced, and by using the basic dynamic principle and computer programs, the equations of motion of the system are established and used to observe the vehicle dynamic characteristics. The study defines rollover happens when two wheels lift-off occur. Then, in different velocities and steering angles of front wheels, simulate with J-turn test defined by NHTSA and observe the difference of the time between two inside wheels. Finally, observe the effect of the outside rear handling for the rollover behavior of the vehicle which will overturn soon by exerting steering, longitudinal force, and steering plus longitudinal force on the outside rear wheel. This study obtains the fundamental relationship between the rear wheel handling and vehicle dynamic characteristics and the way how to handle the outside rear wheel in order to postpone or prevent rollover. 劉霆 2007 學位論文 ; thesis 118 zh-TW
