Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣大學 === 電機工程學研究所 === 95 === The main objective of this research is to implement a system to provide accurate recordings of physiological data regarding a dedicated user suffering from diabetes mellitus (DM). The physiological data is transmitted to and from medical personnel through wireless networks of Wireless Fidelity (Wi-Fi), while analytical information is generated and sent back to the user in the form of a report suggesting correct eating habits. The system includes a portable Bluetooth blood glucose measuring device for timed measurements of the blood glucose, a remote site server equipped with appropriate software, and an input inquisition device. The portable Bluetooth blood glucose measuring device is implemented with a microprocessor that processes biochemical measured results electronically and is integrated with a Bluetooth module. Efforts have been made to miniaturize the portable device both in size and weight such that any deficiency regarding user ambulation is eliminated. The remote site server adopts SQL Server as the software engine and generates a nutrition information database, personal physiological parameters, daily diet schedules including the use of drugs, and suggested eating plans … etc. The input inquisition device uses Microsoft Visual Studio as an analyzing engine to build a user interface (UI) for configuring rules and conditions regarding the software engine, and automatically produces meal plans for the user. This system helps DM patients reach long term stability of well-being through assisted diet control and mobile health care.
