In this thesis, we proposes two distributed approaches to efficiently generate a proper target-BS list for each handover MSS over a mobile WiMAX network. A series of simulation experiments are conducted to investigate the performance of our approaches in terms of the handover success probability, the system capacity, and the handover latency.
