Through 13 years, the Taiwan governments followed out the policy of “community reconstruction”, involved by many volunteers and professionals, the movement of “community reconstruction” made the echo everywhere. This case study was based on Ba-Chih Village. The literature review was developed by discussion of thesis, books, journal articles and newspaper clipping. Data collection was used interview and questionnaire. Seven key-persons was interviewed, 67 valid questionnaires were analysed. After analysis and discussion, the conclusion was address: 1. Sense of community. Community reconstruction can change people’s mind and let residents feel it good and needed. It made residents increasing interaction, connecting emotion, and more attention to environment, closing the distance between people. Through community reconstruction on Ba-Chih Village, this study indicated the residents’ attention and behavior make together each other. 2. Community culture industry. In the process of community reconstruction on Ba-Chih Village, it made the Ba-Chih Village more famous, attracted more visitors. This study demonstrated the residents had deeply hope and expectation for Cheng-Huang Culture and Annual Drum Activity. Rely on two axes, this study suggested to establish community’s brand and develop products by community’s characteristics, and to promote the tourism industry in Ba-Chih Village. Finally, this study brings up implications and recommendations for future research, vision and development of community reconstruction in Ba-Chih Village.
