Summary:碩士 === 國立臺東大學 === 兒童文學研究所 === 96 === Lin Hai-Yin the writer as a female, but respected as ' Mr. ' by the literary world, the multiple literary world also identify her as the writer, editor and publisher. The autobiographic novel " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " is her representative work. The promotion of the story to the world seen by pieces of eyes from a girl whose name is Ying Tzu. Ying Tzu's eyes can be said as the operation of the story scene, and her soul world and external world are interweaved into childhood of Lin Hai-Yin 『s memory. " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " is not only Lin Hai-Yin 『s creation of missing old times , but also one that describe her grow-up going through childhood, and a girl went through a lot of tests. Five chapters of " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " imply many grow-up topics. This research adopts and analyzes about the text of the novel " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " --the autobiography of Lin Hai-Yin, hope to understand the generalization of this growth course of the lady's model and and then analyze the growth meaning in it. The chapter structures of this thesis are as follows: Chapter one (Preface) aims at explaining the motivation and purpose of this research. By reviewing the results, we point out meaning and value in which the thesis studied. We probe into Lin Hai-Yin’s whole life and literary creation in chapter two. Chapter three is probed into the friendship of children in " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " and the growth meaning of developing out through friendship. Chapter four is probed into women in " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " and the growth of consciousness of them. In chapter five we probe into the development of the relationship between father and daughter in " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " and the growth meaning of the symbol among them. Chapter six ( Conclusion) answers the problem of this research, and makes the summary for the growth meaning in " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing ". The friendship of children in this research summed up in " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing " includes three characteristics while writing: The comparison of personage, the closeness between girls』 friendship differs from the rebellion between boys' friendship. When the sincere children friendship ended, Ying Tzu grown by this kind of wound as well. Besides, as for women in " MY MEMORIES of Old Beijing ", Lin Hai-Yin has represented care and sympathy of humanity to the women forced by patriarchy, but lacks for the autonomous development of the consciousnesses of women. On the contrary, the change from 'daughter' image to 'maternal' image of the little girl—Ying Tzu, filled with the growth of women's consciousness. On the other hand, Ying Tzu’s father is the man who influenced her most. Ying Tzu ended her childhood right after her father passed away, and then sturdily marched toward adulthoof.
