To understand the changing of teacher’ status during the period of post-curfew after the Second World War. Generalizing all the results, the researcher had following discoveries: 1. Teachers had become one of the occupations since the period of Eastern Zhou Dynasty, and then transformed into a sacred position because of the high respect of Confucianism in the period of Western Han Dynasty. 2. The social reforms from the late-Ching Dynasty to early republic of China affected traditional teacher’s status. 3. Teachers had Das besondere Gewaltverhaltnis with government in modern school system. 4. Teachers turned into a specialized educational-worker after the era of curfew. The following recommendations are derived from this research: 1. Either establishing Teacher authority law or revising related teacher authority in Teacher Law could allow teachers to perform the power of counseling and discipline in schools. 2. Establishing license system through adequate training and testimony could ensure the quality of professional counseling teachers, discipline teachers. 3. In order to maintain learning rights of students, empowering moderate discipline and penalty rights to counseling teachers, discipline teachers would be a practical way. Furthermore, establishing ‘Grade informing system ’ makes tutors, administration staffs and discipline teachers have specific duties and cooperates with ‘Student Reward and Punishment Committee ’ In this perspective, teachers would not employ negative strategies due to fear of illegality.
