First, author will probe the present condition of pressure of primary school students; also the coping strategy and counseling need will be investigated. Second, author will interview relevant educational stuff’s opinion about the method to counsel and solve the pressure of primary school students in school. Finally, a suggestion based on the result of this study will be given as the reference for further counseling work of primary school students. This study mainly adopts qualitative survey; the methods include Semi-structured Interview and Document Analysis. This study will focus on high grade students in primary school. Author will interview students for the pressure while they facing different situation, such as the interaction with teachers, the interaction with classmates, schoolwork, examination, racing, school rules and body situation by sequence. Four issues will be investigated: the source of pressure, the reason which causes pressure, coping strategy and the need for solving pressure. The result of this study indicates that students will feel pressure most while they facing schoolwork. The following sequence is examination, interaction with teachers, school rules and racing. The pressure caused by body situation is less than other situation. The reasons causing the pressure of different school life are also discussed in this study. Primary school students will use different coping strategies for different situation. For the pressure about interaction with teachers, racing and adoption of school rules, students will use two strategies: the first one is to face the problem aggressively and the second one is to release emotion positively. For the pressure about the interaction with classmates, schoolwork and body situation, most students’ first priority is to face the problem aggressively; the second one is to seek for social support. For the pressure about the examination, students’ first priority is to face the problem aggressively as well. The second one is to delay and evade. To sum up, students will use to face the problem aggressively as their first strategy for their pressure. The major strategy of teachers for students’ pressure in school life is cognitive therapy theory. Teachers will tutor students to solve the pressure by changing students’ thought such as making students to express their feeling, seek for the explanation. Also teachers will educate the skills for releasing pressure such as deep breath, relax the emotion, join leisure actives and do sport to reduce the impact on students from pressure. The major coping strategy of school administration is to enhance teachers’ teaching skill and relevant knowledge for tutoring and disciplining. Second, encourage teachers to join in-serve learning of tutoring and disciplining skill, communication skill and the training of releasing pressure. Besides, relevant department in school could use flexible time or large scale meeting to arrange speech or lecture to educate students to figure out their pressure problem and guide them to learn the correct method to release their pressure.
