After analyzing the morality, the writers, the source of the article, the category of the illustration, and the relationship between the illustration and the article in the textbook, the characteristics of the Japanese textbook and the suggestions for the Taiwanese moral textbook are presented. This study will be analyzed the morality in the textbook first, and then the writers, the source of the article, the category of the illustration, and the relationship between the illustration and the article will be categorized and analyzed by the author. The category of the source of the article is newspaper, books, composition etc. The category of the writers is students, literators, scholars and so on. The category of the illustration is pictures, real illustration, abstract illustration, art, comics etc. The category of the relationship between the illustration and the article is direct relationship, indirect relationship, non-relationship, and the diagram.
