The purposes of research:The goal of public order is not only to prevent crime,but also to charge criminals after crime.Prevention is better than cure.The task of the greatest urgency at present is how to strengthen the policing prevention crime system. The purposes of research include: 1.awaken all police again to pay attention to crime prevention. 2. Coordinate the power of propelling crime prevention. 3. Build the policing crime prevention system and the systematization model.4.Build the evaluation system of policing enforing crime prevention.
Literature review includes: the meanings of strategy and crime prevention. Discussion about research design of lifestyle-exposure theory, theory of criminal opportunity , rational choice theory, victim precipitation theory , situated transaction theory, routine activity theory , community crime prevention theory , community disorganization theory , community disorder theory , broken windows hypothesis , community empowerment theory , community regeneration theory , defensible Space theory, the economic theory of deterrence and social control theory.
The methods of research: 1.literature evaluation analysis 2.questionnaires survey.
The steps of research: 1.data collection 2.questionnaires survey 3.analysis of data 4.data reporting.
The research previews:
It is discovered that the best strategy of crime prevention from literature evaluation is law, organizational, and execution strategy. Police officers are all highly approvable of development prevention, situational crime prevention, and community crime prevention strategies from questionnaires survey. Similarly the officers also agree the effectiveness of law, organizational, and execution strategy.
The research previews suggest the best crime strategy is law, organizational, and execution strategy to carry out community prevention. The policing crime prevention system cooperate with other administrational ministries such as the ministry of education, the ministry of social public, the ministry of citizen public. The policing crime prevention system can mobilizes the community’s power and maintains the social order.
In order to propel community prevention it is necessary to coordinate the power of police station’s crime prevention officers with domestic violence prevention and juvenile delinquency prevention officer.
