After World War II and United Nations' establishment, human rights' codification is a mainstream tendency. 1959 Declaration of the Rights of the Child and 1989 United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, promote child's status from“passive object”to“subject of rights”. When the child became the subject of rights, the inseparable action with child in daily life - play, if become one of children rights' connotations, how should we expound this new and developing right – the right of play? This article will discuss children's right of play with international manifesto, international convention, international legislative forms and international promoting organizations from the“ international tracing” angle, and from the“internal initiation”viewpoint, discuss children's right of play with early statutes, internal laws and internal promoting organizations, take“ international tracing and internal initiation research on children's right of play”as the goal. This article's research method adopts “historical research” and “legal research” from “Qualitative Research Methodology”, hope can propose humble opinions as final conclusion.
