The Inside Thought of the Pulsation of the Earth
Abstract
Through our imagination which has the unlimited power of creation of new things, a lot of worlds can be presented, from the past to the future, mixed with memory, dreams, expectation, potential risks, in such a vivid way that so often the real worlds are mistaken as.
There are a lot of examples which utilize the power of the imagination to create new the new visual arts in the western art history, especially the surrealism. The surrealism display the unlimited powerful imaginary worlds by the perception of the vision which is either from the human beings or the nature or other resources, will be further transformed into the spiritual activities by the hidden spiritual meanings.
Since the Industrial Revolution, the ecology of the earth has been badly destroyed, the co-living environment is also hurt much, many species are endangered, the world climate is changed, and our living space is also endangered worsened by the progressive expansion of the human living space. I hereby create a theme of the art which originates from the fear, which is deep inside our mind about the risk of extermination of the human kind.
This study creates the visual art though the exploration of the previous literatures. In this study, there are four chapters arranged, briefly described as the followings:
Chapter 1 introduction, motivation, purpose, scope, direction, theme and contents of this study.
Chapter 2 from the literature review to discuss the origin, the development and the ideal of the creation of the surrealism, furthermore to understand how its style of creation to influence the creative style of the modern art, and to explore the problems of the exhaustion of the resources, or the pollution and destruction of the ecological environment.
Chapter 3 talking about the direction of creation、artistic technique、artistic material and artistic contents, using the theme of "The Exotic Vision of Imagination", to describe the problems of the global warming and the ecological crisis and to express my concern about the ecological environment, by the ways of the imagination and the metaphor.
Chapter 4 the explanation and the analysis of my personal creation.
Chapter 5 In conclusions, through the concepts of land ethic and biotic equality, I appeal all people sincerely to respect the earth and each species, to concern ecological environment and global warming and to rebuild the symbiotic harmony between human beings and the earth environment.
