碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 藝術學系碩士班 === 95 === On the basis of symbolism and romantic abstract expressionism, this study is to search essence of life, background of personal growth, and life experience. The study is divided into three parts--- life series, natural series and meditation series to express the process of artistic creation. By using abstract symbols, metaphors, and imaginations, the study creates works by media of plastic pigment, which is expressed by automatic technique such as extempore or willful painting energy. Without the limitation of traditional painting skills, the artistic experience comes from insightful imagination. By using different kind of method, the plastic painting demonstrates simple, texture result to present its characteristics. By these techniques, the work presents balanced atmosphere as well as its integrality. The meaning of the piece is left for visitors to translate. To get feedback from the audience is always a confirmation. After all, what I want is to find insight of myself through this study. The view point of the audience is not so important to me. The author expresses abstract expressionism in creative ways instead of traditional ones. The study also makes use of the exhibition to receive visitors’ suggestions widely. One can expand the vision and introspect to create the idea. It’s my pleasure to have an opportunity holding personal exhibition.
