Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 課程與教學研究所 === 95 === This article aims at the course standard of moral characters and society in Shanghai and explores the establishment procedures and contents of the course standard in order to understand the characteristics and problems. The conclusions of this study are divided into three major parts: I. Analysis on the procedures of moral characters and society course standard 1. The course establishment and standard have three stages. The development procedures of the course are cautious. 2. Establishment members of course standard are from different fields. They have their individual editing for future interchange. 3. One can see strong guideline of the government representatives of nation ideology in the course standard establishment. II. Analysis of details of moral characters and society course standard 1. The standard includes three facets of cognition, sentiment, and skills with extension and continuation. However, the goals are too broad, vague and concentrated on certain dimensions. 2. The course structure is in the extension of regional scope, using the design ideas for course planning in the society courses. Yet, the text statements in the course standard are not precise enough. 3. Courses are diverse and mainly based on the foundation of humanitarian sociology. They are designed in accordance with the three major core concepts for the theme. Nevertheless, the three major concepts fail to contain all the content requirements of the courses. 4. Assessment method, teaching materials development and teaching suggestions are only with announcing effects without concrete and effective reference basis. III. Analysis of other parts of moral characters and society course standard 1. The intention of moral character education to be conveyed via the framework of sociology course is good. Yet, the contents in the structure of sociology course fail to manifest the core concepts of moral character education. 2. The course standard has the highest requirements, giving large freedom of editing of teaching materials. The too flexible design will not make the contents of course standard workable.
