Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育政策與管理研究所 === 95 === The purpose of this study was to investigate ethical dilemmas of primary school administrators and to analyze how they solve these dilemmas. Subjects were 330 school administrators sampled from 40 primary schools in Taipei City, and a questionnaire of ethical dilemmas of school administration was administered to collect data for analysis.
Based on results of data analysis, conclusions were derived as follows:
1. School administrators usually encountered ethical dilemmas at least once a school semester even once a month.
2. The ethical dilemmas most frequently encountered by school administrators was “work distribution” and “activity assignment”.
3. School principals encountered much more ethical dilemmas than other school administrators did.
4. Causes of ethical dilemmas were very often relevant to personal interests or personality dispositions.
5. There were three kinds of solving strategies, including “positive”, “negative” and “compromising”, and the “compromising strategies” was most frequently adopted.
Some of suggestions were provided for school administrators and researches for further studies.
