This research is carried out with the survey method of the questionnaires. The objects included 459 present female supervisors from elementary schools located in Taipei County and TouyuanCounty, retrieve 326 questionnaires, the effective questionnaires is 318, availability is 70%. The survey tool of this research, ” the questionnaire of role stress and job satisfaction of female supervisors in primary schools”, included “the scales of role stress “ and “the scales of job satisfaction . “ Statistical method is to adopt item analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and analysis of stepwise linear regression. The conclusions of this research are as follows: 1.The role stress which female supervisors in primary schools experience is not high. 2. Female supervisors of primary schools are roughly satisfied with their job. 3. Significant differences were found in the primary school female supervisors’ role stress in terms of personal backgrounds. 4. Significant differences were found in the primary school female supervisors’ job satisfaction in terms of personal backgrounds. 5. It displays a significant negative correlation between the role stress and job satisfaction of the female supervisors. The higher the stress, the lower the satisfaction. 6. “Role conflict” is the most influencial prediction to job satisfaction of primary school female supervisors’ role stress. According to the findings, propose relevant suggestions for educational executive authorities, school principals, the female supervisors of primary schools as well as the future study.
