Summary: | 博士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 教育政策與管理研究所 === 95 === The purposes of this research are to understand the right of education and to explore the development, state and the relevant research of home schooling in Taiwan and foreign countries. By Focus-Group Method, Delphi Technique and Document Analysis Method to plan systems of home schooling and to construct indicators of learning effect for students in Taiwan.
Finally, to provide some results and suggestions to another related units and persons.
The main results of the study are following:
一、By the change of the right of education, non-school style experience education in Taiwan includes alternative school, private management of public school and home schooling, the number of schools and students are increasing year by year.
二、In the foreign country, the main characteristics of home schooling are legitimate and less limit. The main motives of education choice are religious belief and unsatisfaction with the quality of school. Socialization of students is very good, the numbers are increasing year by year.
三、The developments of home schooling in Taiwan contain three stages:ferment stage, trial stage and legitimate stage.
四、The system of home schooling in Taiwan includes theories, core beliefs, relationships and intensions.
(一)The theories of system of home schooling in Taiwan are built on education law, education philosophy and critical education.
(二)The core beliefs of system of home schooling in Taiwan are the subjects of children、education choice and flexible learning.
(三)The relationships of system of home schooling in Taiwan are children, parents, personnel of schools of home schooling and the related government officials.
(四)The intensions of system of home schooling in Taiwan are legislation-plans, strategies and evaluation.
(五)The main dilemmas of system of home schooling in Taiwan are the conflicts of roles ,as a parent and as a teacher, and the rules of evaluation are hard to be objective.
五、To construct the evaluation indicators of learning effect of home schooling in Taiwan includes five dimensions which are moral behaviors, performance of learning, healthy mind and body, group interacting and life satisfaction, and fifty-three indicators which are 29 main indicators, 20 second indicators and 4 reference indicators.
At last, the study recommends some suggestions for relevant units, persons and researches in the future.
