Texture mapping is the technique to mapp texture image to 3D surface and it can preserve details of surface , but texture mapping will produce some problems like blur and seam , also requires overhead for memory storage . These problems come from stretching and tiling , but we can solve it by texture synthesis on 3D . Because texture synthesis algorithm is an important factor for 3D quality , so we want implement Choosing Better Patch Size for Texture Synthesis algorithm to get better 3D quality .
