Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北教育大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 95 === The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of electronic storybooks instruction and self-management strategy on reducing the problem behavior of an elementary school student. This subject was a 2nd grade boy with problem behavior in an elementary school. The changing criterion design of a single-subject design was used in this study. The independent variable of this study was electronic storybooks instruction and self-management strategy. The dependent variable of this study was the frequency of problem behavior, including three types of inattention behavior, aggressive behavior, and uncooperative behavior. The researcher collected the data during the baseline, treatment , and maintenance periods. These data were analyzed with visual analysis. At the end of training, questionnaires and interviews were used to examine the social validity of this study. The results of this study was indicated as follows: 1. The effects of electronic storybooks instruction and self-management strategy on reducing the problem behavior of the subject in school time was effective and maintained. 2. The application of electronic storybooks instruction and self-management strategy had social validity and was recognized by teachers, the subject, and peers. At last, according to the findings of this study, some applications for the instructional activities and the further researches were recommended.
