Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣海洋大學 === 電機工程學系 === 95 === The objective of this thesis is to study power system low-frequency oscillations. A longitudinal large power system is taken as the study system. First, the dynamic model of the system is established. Dynamic analysis employs two kind of methods, namely frequency domain analysis and time domain simulation. Based on the system dynamic model, the frequency domain analysis is to investigate the eigenvalues and eigenvectors of the system. On the other hand, time domain simulations are to figure out the system transient responses subject to disturbances such as the three-phase short circuit fault. The examined measures for improving system dynamic stability includes the installation of the power system stabilizer. Based on the obtained results, it is found that each electromechanical oscillation mode of the studied longitudinal power system is stable and the dynamic performance is improved with a power system stabilizer.
