Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 測驗統計研究所 === 95 === The purpose of this study was to develop an integrated reading and writing performance assessment(CIRWPA) for elementary school students ,to set up and confirm the theory model of reading , writing and the reading-writing connection .Besides, this study aimed to inquiry literacy of elementary school students in Taiwan.
There were 171 students of 4 grade and 181 students of 6 grade from six elementary schools in Taiwan that selected as samples by purposive sampling to take CIRWPA.Through
these statistic methods, including GENOVA, SPSS and LISREL to analysis the empirical data. The maim results of this study were as follows.
1.The empirical data supported the modified theory model :(1)Not only the reading latent variable would affect the reading-writing latent variable , but also the reading-writing latent variable would affect the writing latent variable. (2)The reading latent variable would affect the reading-writing latent variable each other.
2.The criterion-related validity from 4 grade and 6 grade elementary sthdents’ native language mid-term examination was separately .582 and.582. Then the consistency of reading, reading- writing connection and writing aspects from two raters was .8029,.5523 and.7231.
3.The students’ literacy on CIRWPA existed significantly difference based on different areas in Taiwan, sex, grades and family reading environments.
