The research instrument was “Questionnaire of the working condition of the elementary school physical education teachers” which was designed by the researcher. This study adopted factor analysis, frequencies analysis, variance analysis and multiple regression and path analysis. The main findings of this study were as following: 1. The level of the job satisfaction of the physical education teachers is medium-high. 2. The job characteristics of the physical education teachers had significant effects on the job satisfaction 3. Among the job characteristics, the intrinsic values, importance and autonomy had significant and positive effects while fatigue and repetition had significant and negative influence.
