To achieve this purpose, the researcher adopted the method of experimental study, selected elementary school fourth graders as subjects, designed teaching materials for an experimental group and a control group respectively, and applied the teaching model of incorporating information technology into the teaching activities of martial art. Data were analyzed through learning achievement test and questionnaire survey, and a comparison was made to tell the difference of students’ learning achievement between the information technology incorporated teaching method and the traditional teaching method. The findings and results of this study were summarized in the following conclusions: 1.There was a significant difference between the pre- and post- cognitive learning achievement tests for students receiving information technology incorporated teaching method to martial art teaching. This indicated that incorporating information technology into martial art teaching had significant effect on the cognitive learning of martial art. 2.There was no significant difference between the pre and post skill learning achievement tests for students receiving information technology incorporated teaching method to martial art teaching. This indicated that incorporating information technology into martial art teaching has no significant effect on the martial art skill learning. 3.Within the variables of students’ background of those receiving information technology incorporated teaching method to martial art teaching, gender and whether participating in martial art social club or not did not show a significant difference in the martial art skill learning achievement. 4.From the analyses of questionnaire survey and achievement test results, incorporating information technology into the teaching of elementary schools’ martial art teaching is highly feasible. It not only makes up for the shortage of teachers’ professional skills, assists teachers in teaching, but also assists students in learning. Information technology can be seen as an auxiliary tool for martial art teaching. Hong-Ren Chen 陳鴻仁 學位論文 ; thesis 87 zh-TW
