Summary: | 碩士 === 國立臺南大學 === 社會科教育學系碩士班 === 95 === In order to follow the tendency of the educational reforms and promote the quality of school education, school evaluation has been applied in many schools through local Educational Administration to understand the situation of school management and enhance the efficiency of schooling. Therefore, school evaluation has become an important tool in the process of school development. Due to the reason “Evaluation’s most important purpose is not to prove but to improve.” (Stufflebeam, 1983), the purpose of this study aims to discuss how Evaluation Indicators Weight System helps to benefit school development through the idea of School-based Management.
Since school evaluation has become an important tool in the process of school development, this study adopted Analytic Hierarchy Process to establish each school’s evaluation indicator weight system. Then, data collected were analyzed by Team Expert Choice. The evaluation indicators are included in the Weight System so that each school can examine each indicator’s ratio of weights. It helps school understand its main points of future development. Meanwhile, it also enhances the school features and helps establish specific goals to conform to the idea of School-based Management. By means of the combination of the Weight System and the official evaluation model, school evaluation will provide and promote the efficiency of school evaluation.
