The difficulties in the development of new product are increasing because of the technical patent problem. It makes enterprises beyond their power to do something while facing the competition. Therefore, various strategic alliances are established for businesses’ survive. Seven corporations including MACRONIX, NITENDO, LITE-ON, WINBOND, Toshiba, MOSEL and INFINEON are selected as samples for the synergy analysis of strategic alliances. Two important points obtained form this case study: (1) Both the scale and the capability of corporation can be promoted by means of strategic alliances. (2) The maximum benefit will be obtained further. Both Strategic alliances and the type of strategic alliances are selected based on the strategic consideration. The result obtained form this study also provides some valuable suggestions for business while conducting strategic alliances practices.
