Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立清華大學 === 動力機械工程學系 === 95 === With the development of an ultra-high capacity optical storage system, a high performance opto-mechatronics system must be designed to conform the need for the future optical storage system. The objective of this thesis is to built an opto-mechatronics simulation system to integrate the electro-optical and control system in a DVD system. Based on the simulation results, discussion of the relationship between electro-optical system and servo control system is depicted. The thesis utilized on geometry optics and diffract optics to build the simulation system. First of all, the thesis introduces both the principles of the optical system and electro-optical signals in the optical storage system and also introduces the servo control of the system. Then, the architecture of the simulation system is illustrated to explain how to set up simulation system. The simulation system develops a DVD system firstly and successfully establishes the optical model and then simulates focus error signals (FES), radio frequency signal (RFS) and tracking error signals (TES). The result would be compared with the signals from the hardware in DVD to verify its accuracy. The simulation results also consider the influence of disc tilt and discuss the phenomenon as how they will affect the electro-optical signals. Then, the dynamic behavior of disc based on tracking error signals is added into the simulation and shows the influence of the disc eccentricity and disc tilt on tracking error signals. Finally, the simulation system takes tilt control into account to correct the influence which results from the disc tilt. The simulation system can provide reliable information, and therefore the designers can depend on the simulation system to design system before the researchers can start designing the hardware system.
